Each year Pensacola Recreational Fisherman’s Association along with Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission hosts the Kids Fishing Clinic. The clinic gives kids between the ages of 4 – 14 the opportunity to learn how to cast, tie knots, handle fish, and much more. Every kid will receive a free t-shirt, fishing pole, and tackle box. Older kids will also learn how to fly fish and how to throw a cast net.
This event is free to the public and will be held at end of Palafox St. Plaza Deluna Park.. Free food, drinks, ice cream, and other treats will be provided.
This event put on by the PRFA and the FWC with help from many other community clubs, vendors and stores.
